From Langkawi Island...

Hai there...it has been almost a month since my last post. Busy with my life and so on...
Since yesterday, myself and my friends are in Langkawi Island...we are here for a meeting. We will be here until 18/12.

Since last night we already started discussing a lot of things until now. The meeting will be held till night...fu yo... Today is my daughter birthday...Amirah Farwizah she will 9 today...already call and wish her.

A long time....

It's has been long time....I had a post in my blog. Don't know why... Do not have enough time to write or maybe it has been a very busy time with my works.

I already passed my handycap test last thursday...now my handycap is 24 hopefully I can improve it, insyAllah. Already started playing with my friend Pak Syed...need to improve my stamina...that what Pak Syed told me...lack of stamina...To improve my game, I need to play more...maybe I will be going alone just to get the 'feel' when hitting the ball.

Today my dear friend Rosidi will be going to Mecca to perform the Haj...I pray to God that he and his wife will the get 'Haji Mabrur' or bless haj. I'm hoping that myself and my wife could get the opportunity to perform the Haj in a few years time, insyAllah.

My son already get his exam result...alhamdulillah he gets an A and 4 C. Hopefully he will get a good result in secondary school next year.

InsyAllah end of December, I and my family will moving back to my mother in law house...now we are doing a little renovation. My house in Taman Cengal need some repair and after that will be renting it or maybe turn it into 'home stay'. Depend on the situation....

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri....

Today already the 9th days of Syawal...that means 9 days has passed after Hari Raya. Did not have the time to write....

This year my self and family celebrate Hari Raya with my mum in Sungai Buloh...2 days before hari raya we went back there.

Second day of hari raya we went back to Melaka....to visit my father grave and my uncle and aunt houses. We came back and reach my mum house around 11 pm. Very tiring...

On the third days we went home....stop at Bukit Mertajam, we went to the new Jaya Jusco in Bandar Perda. We had our lunch there and went home around 4.00 pm before stopping in Seberang Jaya mosque for praying. Then we went home....

Today is the third day I'm fasting....need 3 days more to complete fasting in the month of Syawal. Muslim are encourage to fast 6 days in this month.

7 days to go...

Today is the 23rd of Ramadan...that means only 7 days to go before all muslims in the world celebrate Aidil Fitri. Time goes by without u noticed...that means only 7 days left for me to perform all the prayers during Ramadan. It will be a sad things...need to wait for another 12 month before the next Ramadan. If u are still 'around'...

Anyway, I hoping that I can perform well during this Ramadan...fasting, the prayers etc. Alhamdulillah starting from the 21st night/early hour....my self and my love one had the opportunity to perform the night solat. I pray to Allah togive us strenght and time to do all the prayers.

Hopefully this Ramadan we could get the opportunity to get the Lailatul Qadar night....a night that Allah gave to His ummah. Need to find it and hopingto get it, insyAllah.

Tomorrow will be going to KL, need to go to UIAM for the presentation of Project Management by our PKPGB participants on 25 Sept. Will be going to my mum house...miss her.

10 Ramadan

Yesterday my son sits for his UPSR exam....BM (Pemahaman), BM (Penulisan) and Mathematic Paper 2. I was on leave yesterday and tomorrow...just to give moral support to him. Today I working because only one paper that is Mathematic Paper 1. Tomorrow Science and English paper 1 and 2. Myself and my love one pray to Allah swt so that our son can achieve good result in this exam, insyAllah.

Next week will be going to observed my NPQEL students in Perak. One student in Parit and another one in Sri Manjung. Will be out station for 2 days...thinking of bringing my son along. Just to accompany me...

Ramadhan....Ya, Allah.

Today is the third days of Ramadhan...time goes without you noticed. Really happy to make it this year. Next year who knows.... Hopefully this year I get the appourtunity to do more 'amalan' @ good things. This month the fasting that we done is actually for Allah swt. 'He' Himself will personally reward to all of His servants with 'pahala'.

A lot of things need to be done during this month. My son will be taking his UPSR exam next week. Actually I need to go to IABInduk in Genting...but because of the exam my director has excuse me from attending it.

Where we stand...

Hai there...

It has been a long break for me to do any posting. Maybe because of the popular malay verse 'hangat-hangat tahi ayam'. Don't know why do not have the ideas...

Tomorrow will be taking 1 day off, need to bring my son to the see doctor in KMC. To open his hand cast. Thursday will be sitting for PTK exam...paper 1.

Already started my golf class with Mr. Sobri from DGCC. The payment is RM 300.00 for 5 lesson. Need to go to the driving range to sharpen my stroke. Hopefully after this I can start playing in Kedah Club.

Hai there....this is my first post for the month of August. Does not know why do not have any idea to write...beside that, maybe quite busy with my life. My loan application was rejected...do not know where to find another bank that can provide personal loan without any hassle.

Need to do something to make my life much better....the promotion still does not know when will get it. This is the birocracy that need to be thrown away in our system... what are those people in high rank doing...give hope and relevant statement but at the end it still need to approved by another set of people from JPA...

What must I do....please someone can give any ideas. Direct selling or insurance or ...... Need to choose.

Hai there...this is my second post for the month of July. My post today is from KMC@ Kedah Medical Centre...this is my second day in KMC. My youngest son had an accident last thursday...his hand injured. This morning he went for small operation on his hand....hopefully tomorrow he can be discharged. Will be taking one day off tomorrow....

The weather in Alor Star since yesterday night is raining...today it still raining. My plan for training in driving range had to be cancelled. Not because of my son but the driving range in Kedah Club is closed...don't know why? Need to practice my stroke....

Until yesterday I'm still waiting the result of my loan application...don't know why? Hopefully the person incharge will contact me to inform the result....

It has been almost 14 days since my last post....do not have the time to write, lazy.....actually a lot of things in my mind. Need to take care of few things regarding my life....

Yesterday 12 th July is the third year since my beloved father past away....my mum held a kenduri arwah @ tahlill @ special prayers. I did not attend it cause the kenduri is held in my mum house in Sg. Buloh, Selangor. But I did a little contribution to the kenduri....thanks to all my relatives and friends who attended the kenduri. May Allah bless my father and sister soul and put them in heaven, insyAllah. Really miss them....

Today need to look at the notes for my next lecture on 27 July...will be given lecture to the NPQEL group. A new topic but I will try my best to delivered it as best as I could.

Tomorrow will be going to IAB Induk, my self and a few friend will be doing the recording for the BPQH Comenmence day on 15 July. A new task to perform beside giving lecture....

This morning receive an email from my friend...the email is about how to be come rich. Don't know whether it is true or not...need to think about it. From the explaination it really make you wonder...is it true or not?

I already started going to the driving range in Kedah Club...3 times already. Need to sharpen my stroke....my hand and legs is taking the result...need massage. Now I know it really hard to get a good stroke....but I will try my best to master it.

From IAB Induk, Genting Highland...

Salam,

Today we will start our work in IAB Induk...we will be incharge of the prosiding and report for the seminar until Wednesday. Myself and all my lecturer friend are involved in this seminar. I came here with my dear friend Dr. Abang Hud yesterday. I start my journey from Alor Star at 9 am and reach Genting at 3.30 pm. Alhamdulillah we had a save journey....

Already call my love one...I means she call me early in the morning. Last night I fall asleep without switching off the TV...I woke up at 3.30 am cause had to go to the toilet.

Hoping today our work in reporting the seminar will went smoothly.... Need to stop here first!

A week ago...

Salam,

It has been a week since my last post. Don't know why does not have any ideas to write.... Need to relax a little bit. Anyway my course in Miri last week went smoothly...all the participants are satistified and happy. They said the course really benefit them....hopefully.

My journey back not so pleasent...had to be with my staf. Really, I felt not very comfortable with her, maybe cause of the way she handled our colocium. Actually I felt very hurt the way she has been performing her works for the colocium. But really she can 'act' as nothing happen... That the reality of human being.

Last Sunday, my class with the KKPP participants....40 of them ( Guru Besar ). I noticed during my lecture a few of them ( of course the men GB ) show their unprofesionality...they talk and talk during my lecture...how do you aspect this guys to teach their staf and students if yourself cannot give a good example. Even one of them fall asleep....hai yo, very bad attitude!

Tomorrow will be going to SMK Jitra representing my Director..... I will be taking one day off on 26 June. Need to go to my children school...to see their teacher and take their report cards. Just hoping my children will perform well especially my eldest and my second. Then will be going to Kuala Nerang in the evening...my love one has a program there. Will be there till friday.

From Miri, Sarawak

Salam, hai there!

Today is day 4 in Miri...alhamdulillah our IL course are on schedule. My class already finish yesterday. Hopefully all the headmaster understand and happy with my lecture. Day 4 means...it has been four day since I perform the task as the course manager because Kak June cannot make it. She is not feeling very well, she hurt her foot last week during our colocium. Tomorow is her class....hopefully she will make it.

Today I got the chance to do some shopping for my love one and children. I went shopping with my dear friend Ustaz Ali. Actually he is my 'penghulu' during our last course in Miri in April this year.

My dear friend Dr. Zubir will be going home tomorrow morning...so I will alone. Maybe on Friday I be handling the closing ceremony of the course. What to do...at least I can gets the experience for myself.

From KLIA...

Hai there....it has been a long time I have made my post. Busy with my work and etc. Our colocium had ended last week, thanks God all has run well from the start till finish. The participants only 130 plus...but all are happy and satistified with it.

Today I will be going to Miri...just arrived from Alor Star through early flight. Our flight to Miri is at 1.15pm...will be going with my dear friend Dr. Abg Hud and our staf Pn. Sufina. Will be in Miri till Friday...

We will be organising a course for the headmaster from Sarawak...Instructional Leadership course. Hopefully all will be fine cause only 4 of us will teaching in the course...myself, Pn. June, Dr. Abang Hud and Dr. Zubir.

From Kota Bharu, city of Islam....

My last post is done a few days back...now myself and family are in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Today is the third day, will be going home tomorrow morning. I already observe my participants, not really satistified with the observation...hoping they all manage to finished their folios.

For the past two days, I also had the opportunity to bring my family to a few places in Kota Bharu...really tired, with our Afiq, our heroes...but we are happy because we got some time to be together.

A lot of work are waiting for me at the offices...will be back to work on Thursday. I really pray that all 'the things' are finished before the colocium next week.

1 week...

Hai there...it has been almost one week, I made my post....this also mean it has been one week my sister passed away. Don't have the idea to write....just finished typing info for our colocium next month. Very tiring thing to do....one side said oh, there nothing to do, but one side said there a lot of things that need to be look at and done!

I need to finished this few things...it really bother me a lot. As the secretary of the colocium...I need to attend lot of things....I will be away from the office for 4 days, going to Kelantan to observe my NPQH participants. Actually at the same time, I need to attend a meeting in Genting but with permission from my boss..I was excuse from the meeting.

So I get the chance to bring along my family to Kelantan...because now is school holidays.

Sad day for me and family...

A'kum...today is my sad day. My sister Atini Hj Mahadi passed away yesterday evening. A shock for me and my family....My late sister had been diagnosed by doctor having SLE symptom for almost 1 year..maybe its the right time for her to 'go'. Allah swt has taken her to be be with HIM and release her from the suffering. Yesterday when we received the sad news...we start our journey from AS around 8.00 pm and arrived at my sister house around 1.30 am. My late sister was buried at Sg. Choh cemetary near Serendah...I had the oppurtunity to take her body inside the grave, at least that is the last thing I can do for her. Will miss her even though we seldom meet and talk...I pray to Allah swt for her soul to be in peace forever. Tonight we had a 'tahlil' or prayer for my late sister... this prayer will go on for 2 night to come.

For me, I had to go back to AS tomorrow morning because my children need to attend their extra classes. InsyAllah when I come back here, I will visit my late sister grave...will miss her...her smile and her kind heart. Ya Allah, please put her soul beside YOU and with the soul of people who always fight for victory of Islam.

Hai there...yesterday is my off day (I mean on leave)...so today I'm back to the office. A few of my friends is 'missing'...maybe on leave or out station. That life in IAB...sometimes u does not know where are your friend...busy with something to do or attend to. For me for 2 weeks to come, will be busy with the preparation of the IL Kolokium...next week will attending coaching and mentoring courses in IAB utara from 26 - 30 May.



I like to show a few pictures from our staf program in Terengganu recently... During our visit to IPGKT I meet my former lecturer during my college time in MPPP, way back in 1986/88. She now is Head Of Department...nice to see her. She is very happy to see me...almost 20 years. I also meet my former college mate, Awang Nik in Terengganu...

Today need to finish a few things..stop here first.

It has been 4 days since I send my post...actually during my staff program in Terengganu I already written a post but does not send it because of something occur at that time. Anyway I had a happy and sad memory during our program at Sutra Beach Resort. The sad one is one of my staf had a miscarriage...pity her. The happy memory is our program went on as we plan it...even though all of us are tired because of the long journey. Our journey from A Star to SBR took us nearly 14 hours...but when going back to AS it only took us about 11 hours. Tired but happy to see all our friends faces...hoping for our next staff program on November. That time I can bring along my love one and children.

Today is holiday, I take the opportunity to bring my family to TESCO (just opened in Alor Star last Friday)...my Afiq really want to go this place, actually there nothing special about it. Small kid....u know. When we were there we did bought something...and playing games then we went to Pizza Hut. My children are really happy and enjoying themselves....

This evening I was thinking to bring my children to the club...maybe playing tennis or go swimming. It has been 2 weeks since we went to the club.

Hai there....this will my short post. Today is a very busy day for me...need to contact a few people that will the present their paper in our Instructional Leadership Colokium next month. Alhamdulillah all are done...

Tomorrow will going to Kuala Terengganu for our staff program. I will going by bus...Our journey will start at 9.30 am. The journey will took us 12 hour to reach there...very tiring... fuyoh...

Hai there....it has been 2 days since my last posting. Can't find the right time to write my post. Anyway nothing much happen in that 2 days...my mom already gone back to KL last night. Miss her...I pray to Allah swt to give her good health and protect her always. When we lost someone in our life, the situation in the whole family will be changed forever...that what happen in my family. When my father passed away on 12th July 2005, our family is not the same any more. Really miss him...hopefully his soul will always be with Allah swt.

Yesterday my lecture with KKPP group, nice to meet the new headmasters. Today I will doing fitness program with them at Tasik Darul Aman. Yesterday also I received a cards from my friend from Sarawak...wishing Happy Teachers day. Nice to get that kind of card...

Try to finish a few things by today...actually a lot things I had to do, hopefully all can be finish. Tomorrow I was thinking of taking one day off..will be going to Kuala Terengganu for our staf development program on Thursday until Sunday.

It has been 2 days since...

It has been 2 days since I made a posting in my blog. Actually I did made a posting on 8 th of May but I don't know what happen, my post was lost in the cyberspace. This technically things has already happen to me about three times...when I want to edit my post, the post will be lost forever.
Yesterday, Friday nothing usual happen,,,just doing my routine when I here at homes. My son Aiman is attending his school program from Thursday until Friday evening. I pick him at 5 pm...look tired, first time for him to sleep in the school. He is twelve years old, will be taking his UPSR exam in September...We are really hoping he can perform well in this exam. He is already attending extra classes and tuitions. For the time being, he is quite slow but who knows...

My mother arrived from KL around 2.40 am in the morning...she is here with my brother Azam and sister Asmah and her husband. My sister son has been offered a place in matriculation program in Arau, Perlis. He will be going there for registeration on 12 of May...

Today, nothing much happen....buying breakfast, going to the market etc. At the market I meet my former headmaster of SK Telok Kechai, had a long chat with Pak Hak. I think because of him, I am where I am now... Then going to my friend son wedding 'kenduri' near my house. After performing the 'solat' I take a nap...Around 5 pm I wake up...solat and then when to my mother house to fetch my daughter.

At night after Maghrib prayer, I send Anis and Aiman to tuition classes...after sending Anis, myself and Afiq stop for while to look at new Perodua Nautiqa model...I think the new model is much better then Kembara but the price is not good... For me, I think it quite expensive...They should put the price around 60 k or much lower. I won't buy it for now... My Afiq is happy to get the opportunity to look at the new model.

At home after solat Isyak, I had dinner with my mum and family...then went fetching Anis and Aiman. Sending Anis to my mother house then went home. Tomorrow I taking one day off from the office...but need to attend a meeting.

Busy..???

Just finish my solat...after my first post this morning, I'm quite busy doing a few things.... Received a souvenier from my former head of department...he just returned from Shanghai, China. Had a long chat with him before he going back to JPN Kedah.... Today our neighbour IPDA is having thier convocation day...that means today we will get a new teachers in our school, trained teachers! Hopefully these new teacher can make an impact to our students and school. With determination and strong will...surely they can make a different.

My lecture for tomorrow has been cancelled. So I can make the time to finish a few things that need my attention...my dear friend from IAB Genting need me to to give respond to a few questions.

Hai there...first day at the office, has been away from the office from last week. Nice to see all of my friends. As usual my routine begin by sending my son Afiq to his nanny house. Then straight to the office...received a few letters and document that need to be attend. This morning we had small 'kenduri' , one of my staff treat us with 'nasi lemak'. After ate the nasi lemak I went straight to my room...to do my blogging...yeah.

Yesterday at Kota Bharu, before going to SK Bunut Payung, myself and my friend Muzli ate 'nasi dagang' for breakfast. Then straight to SK Bunut Payung to see my second participant. Before meeting her, I had a good conversation with her headmaster (a nice and very energetic person). Then seing my participant, I was inform about all her project (2 project for the time being)...and all her documentation. I was impress with her 'Barber Corners' project... She is lucky to have a good backup from her headmaster and senior assistant.

Then from Sk Bunut Payung we went to SK Pasir Hor...my last participant. At the school, I had the opportunity to meet his headmaster...during my first visit he is away in Kuala Lumpur. We talk about a few things...suprisingly he has been studying in Jenan, Jitra and first posting was in Bukit Mertajam.Then I was brief by my participant about his project....I suggest a few things that need to corrected and look at...

Overall I am satistified with all my participants...but I hope for my third visit, they will make sure that all the 'things' are in order and complete. (Hope my participant read this post)

Then we had our lunch at Batu 4, Jalan Kuala Krai, the menu is kampung sytle cooking....very nice and tasty. Thanks to my friend Muzli to take me to several eating place with different types of menus. After that we went straight to the hotel...packing my things and solat. Before going to the airport, we stop by the bazaar buluh...bought something for my love one and children. Thanks Muzli for the .... you know!!!

Before going to the airport, once again we stop to ate 'cendol'. Very nice 'cendol'...Then straight to the airport. At the airport one of participant already waiting fro me...Good luck to her for her interview this coming Thursday. My flight is on time...I had to wait at KLIA for one hour plus...then straight to Alor Star.

My love one and children already waiting at the airport...happpy to see all them. Then straight to fetch my son from his tuition class...going back to my house before going to my mother house. Feeling very tired....had to go to bed early.

Today I had to make a few call to Miri, to sort a few things....Hoping to get it settle by today, insyAllah.

2nd day in Kota Bharu...

Salam...
Today is my 2nd day in Kota Bharu. I went to one of the participant school near Wakaf Bharu around 8 am. My participant pick me up at hotel...The journey took about 20 minutes from the hotel. This is my second visit...From my observation I noticed that the participant already half way in her writing but she still does not done her project. This is a very serious matter cause I'm afraid she could not finished her 3 project as needed. Hopefully she will try her best to meet the dateline in June.

After finish consulting, I had the opportunity to meet her principal. We talk a lot of things...she is a very hardworking and observing person. Sadly she will retire in 2 months time...I noticed she had done her works in 'changing' the teachers and her students to be the best. Hopefully she still can contribute to our education after her retirement.

We went to the shop near Muhamadi Mosque and back to the hotel after having our lunch in 'Restoran Ulam' in Handycraf Center near Kota Bharu. The menu is 'kampung style' but very tasty....really love the fried 'Keli'(Cat fish). After arriving in the hotel, I take a little nap...tired! Then perform the 'solat'. After that I went walking to the market, bazaar and supermarket...just bought a few things for me and my love one. Still did not found the teddy bear my son want....

Tonight I will be going out...my friend Muzli will be coming to fetch me around 8.30 pm. So I stop here first...

From Kota Bharu...

Arrived from KLIA to Kota Bharu around 7.30 pm. My friend already waiting for me at the airport (LTSIP). It was raining in Kota Bharu...After performing prayer at the 'surau' in the airport we get something to eat. Then my friend sent me straight to the hotel. I already call my love one and my children when I check in. Just received a call from my love one....she is fetching our son from tuition class.

Tomorrow morning, I will going to SMK Wakaf Baru then maybe I will be going to one of PKPGB participant school. To check the project that the headmaster prepare...

'Program Sandaran' in Kota Bharu

Tomorrow 3rd of May, I will going to Kota Bharu for the 'Program Sandaran NPQH'. My flight to KLIA is at 3.20 pm and connecting to Kota Bharu at 6.35 pm. I will be staying in Hotel Raudah. I will be in Kota Bharu for three day. Will be coming back at 5th May. I'm looking forward to meet the three participant under my supervision. Hoping they have manage to complete half of the paper works that they have to prepare. It really hard for me to 'push' the 'three' to perform well. What I'm expecting is they know what they should do....

Today I like to write about my friends that I met during attending meeting in Cititel in Penang recently. I had the opportunity to bring our friends from Sabah n Sarawak to visit two place in Penang. My friend from Sabah is En. Mudin and from Sarawak En. Poniman.
First we went to Gurney Plaza and then to Padang Kota Lama. We did not spent much time in the shopping plaza...then we went to Padang Kota Lama. At Padang Kota we ate famous Penang food called 'Pasembor'...the taste not as tasty I ate a few years backs. anyway we enjoy ourselves. We went back to the hotel around 7.30 pm. That night we have a dinner at 8.00 pm. After the dinner some of my friend showing their talents in singing @ karoake session....truly some of them really can sing...but the important thing is they enjoyed it.

Solok Limau Purut

I thinks I need to explain why I using the name for my blog... I got the idea to use this name cause I was born in a village called Kampung Solok Limau Purut located in Simpang Empat, Alor Gajah, Melaka. I lived in this village for 7 years before moving out to Kuala Lumpur in 1973 cause my father got a job as a watchman in Batu Road Boys School, Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur. We do go back to the kampung when we had the opportunity....

I also have a lot of sweet and sad memory in that 'kampung'.

1st May - Labour Day

A'kum and Happy Labour Day,

First of all I like to wish to all workers out there...Happy Labour Day. Today is the day all workers get one day off. This is the day for all of us to rethink about ours roles we play in ours own organization. Have we contributes to our bosses and our friends then to ours customers? Hopefully we all be grateful to Allah swt to giving us a place to work and earn a decent pays to supports our family.

Yesterday our meeting in Cititel ended around 11 am. After finishing packing my things, myself n my dear friend MRI went shopping. We only bought 'jeruk' and key chains then we had our lunch and went home. On the way, we stop by at the toys shop...want to know what we bought? Each of us bought a remote control helicopter. For our children..or for ourselves. After that we went home, had to wait about 30 minutes before get to board the ferry...we safely arrived at home around 3.30 pm, alhamdulillah.

After sending my friend MRI, I fetch my son Afiq from his nanny house. He is very excited to see me...so am I. Then we went home...He ask me what did I bought for him...I said nothing...He was very angry with me...I told him that he has been very naughty, so I won't buy anything for him.

Just we arrive home, my love also arrived at the same time. She notice our Afiq face not very happy...I told her why Afiq had the long face....She just smile...

As usual at 5 pm I fecth my eldest...Anis from school. At home around 6 pm I take out the things I bought....the remote helicopter, mr. bean bear, toy cars and a plastic ball. My children especially Afiq is very excited...all the long face has gone. I got the liberty to play the remote helicopter...cause it need an adult to control it...he..he...he..

After Maghrib prayer...myself and my love and children sent Aiman to tuition class. Then we went to City Plaza to get my new spectacles...I need to wear to help me when I am reading or doing my works in front of the computer. They call it short sighted...or 'rabun dekat'. It really help me...this articles is written with I wearing the new spectacles. It cost around RM 200++

Today I do not have any plan yet...who knows? Maybe I will be going to Kedah Club in the evening...

Meeting in Cititel, Penang

Today is the third day of the meeting. From morning till now, still doing the questions with my friend Tn. Hj. Elhammi and Zamri. For the information, both of them are working in IAB Northern campus. They are kind guy and love computer, computer and computer... Third day means it has been three days I not seen my children...miss them especially my love one. Ok I have to go now....continuing with our works. Bye...

Meeting in Cititel, Penang

I will be attending this meeting from 27/4/08 until 30/4/08. Hopefully I will gain a lot of new knowledge from this meeting. Especially regarding assessment aspect.
